User Support

How it works?

Research shows that community is one of the most powerful human experiences. Community saves lives and creates meaningful change.

Our mission is to create a community-based platform that amplifies voices often overlooked. We believe that the loudest people in the room should be those who have lived it. This is your space to explore.

  • Create a community
  • Do you want to build a community focused on a particular topic or circumstance? Start here.

  • Create a post
  • Don’t know where to start but have something to say? You can just make a post (anonymously if you wish) and see what resonates with other people.

  • Just read
  • Don’t have anything to say yet but want to learn, engage, and support? Keep scrolling and feel free to show your support through comments and upvotes.

We believe we are better together. We believe more people want to work together than to feel separated or other. We believe your experiences are unique but also shared. Let’s get started.

How is destructive behavior moderated on the platform?

Content is actively moderated on the platform based on the community guidelines and user terms and conditions. Users can also flag comments, posts, and communities to help the platform maintain its consistency and safety. Content will be reviewed and may be removed if its presence on the site escalates destructive behavior.

Depending on the frequency and gravity of violations, a user may face temporary or permanent deletion off of the platform. Our number one priority is safety and respect so these violations will be taken very seriously.

    What is community?

A community is a group of people who share common interests, characteristics, or goals and interact with one another within saymore’s virtual space. Saymore is what you make of it and we offer dynamic ways for you to be involved as we understand individuals are complex and varied.

A community on saymore can be created and customized by a regular user, but only the platform admin can delete a community at this time.

A user can join or leave an already created community. If a user leaves a community, all content ie posts and comments created within that community remains part of that community.

If you still have questions or would like to share feedback, please email us support@saymoreco.com

Can I create a post not within any community?

Yes, you can create a post without linking to any community. In this case, the post will appear in the main post feed, but will not be affiliated within a community.

If you still have questions or would like to share feedback, please email us support@saymoreco.com

Can I create a post without adding a hashtag?

No, you need to add at least one hashtag to create a post. This is necessary for our algorithm to understand our users better.

If you still have questions or would like to share feedback, please email us support@saymoreco.com

Can I change the name of a community after it has been created?

No, you can only specify a community name once. This restriction is to avoid confusion.

    What are trigger words?

A trigger word is a phrase that can elicit a strong emotional or psychological response in an individual due to its association with a traumatic or distressing experience. Trigger words can evoke negative feelings, anxiety, fear, or discomfort, and they might lead to a person experiencing a flashback or a heightened emotional reaction related to past trauma.

Trigger words on saymore are created so that you can let users know about a potential trigger before further exposure to the content. If you specify trigger words when creating/editing your post, they will be displayed at the top of your post and will be highlighted in red. Adding trigger words is an optional function. This practice helps create a safer and more supportive environment for everyone involved.

What happens if my account has been blocked for violating platform rules?

Your posts / comments remain active, they are not deleted or hidden (unless the content violates the platform's rules, is considered spam, and/or the platform's admin chooses to remove it). You remain part of the communities you were part of before you were blocked. You can appeal the blocking of your account by using the "Appeal to unblock" form.

In cases where behavior appears to be unintentional or due to lack of awareness, the platform admin can take an educational approach by explaining the guidelines and offering guidance on how to improve behavior. In that case, your appeal will then be up to the discretion of the platform admin.

If you still have questions or would like to share feedback, please email us support@saymoreco.com

What happens if my account has been deleted for violating platform rules?

Your posts / comments remain active, not deleted or hidden (unless the content violates the platform's rules, is considered spam, and/or the platform's admin chooses to remove it). Your posts and comments are marked as content from “Deleted user”. You are no longer involved in communities you were a part of before deletion. If you were the owner of a community, the platform admin becomes the sole owner of that community automatically. You can appeal only once and upon deletion of your account, there will be no way to restore your account or engage on saymore.
